I figured with the plethora of folk significantly stronger than I on here that this would be a good place to ask lol.

How do you guys keep calluses down? Back days are getting pretty painful now as the bar does its best to rip them from my hands!

do you just hack them off, or is there a better way?

I just peel them off. You could try the sholl stuff for hard dry heel skin.

Wait till they tear off/rip them off

New Hybrid all time third top poster brahs!

Tend to leave them until they open then use nail clippers on the flap.

I'm a fucker for picking mine off, but you could sand them down.

The problem with waiting for them to tear is you never know if it's going to take half your hand with it

Reapply chalk between every set. (powered chalk not liquid)

Never had a problem since I switched over to powered chalk.

Yeah, stuff waiting for them to tear.. it knacks enough as it is lol.

I do use powdered chalk, maybe I need to take them right back first and keep them well chalked.

    Gloves (runs and hides)
I've always just got a Stanley knife in the past and just 'shaved' them off.

    A few ways...

Shave them off with one of my wife's old Venus lady shave things (works quite well when wet)
I sand them down with my Mrs electric pedi-file thing (you see them on TV)
I cutt hem off with nail clippers

These are really good, I had a fungal nail infection on both my thumb nails and just ground the infection out, been sorted since.

Scrub them down with foot scrub personally. Never had an issue with tearing.. Maybe I don't lift heavy enough

Training more often will seem counter productive, but it will cause your calluses to heal faster

I just bite/pick them off when I can.
Only downside when it takes half your palm off with it.
