It's all diet for me mate. Too much sodium or too high carb and it strikes. Control that and I'm golden but I don't tend to use bloaty meds either as for me it's just added stress on the body id rather avoid.
Take a look at the low FODMAP diet mate, and consider gluten content too. The above I was pretty oblivious to until my girlfriend told me about it, and the difference (with her especially) is incredible.
I assume you're refering to gastric bloating? Gluten sets me off more than anything. I just try and avoid it or prepare myself for feeling like shore for a few hours
