Bloody hard work today. Which shouldn't be a surprise as I started off upping leg press by 15kg on what I started on last week. Annoyingly I got that awkward feeling again mid-way which doesn't appear to be my actual knee, I think it's more in my vastus. Anyway, I manage to grind out all the sets. From here on I paid the price, decided against my SL variations today and went for ham curls again but my hammies didn't want to know. Eventually found a weight I wasn't cramping up on and got my reps and sets in. Then I got ready to FS.... only I started to get the feeling that I was too baked, everything was beat up and wasn't sure FS would have been, for want of a better word, safe. So did some extensions again, not my favourite but avoided too much knee pressure and kept things tight. It felt quite nice not having FSed but needed to be done. Followed this all up with a 40kg jump on where I started calf work last week which surprisingly wasn't too bad. Can't help but feel I wimped out not doing FS but LP left me in a mess and I didn't want to risk fatigue compromising form. Quads are still feeling sore know tho.
